Workouts for the Disabled
With our movement and meditation program we educate the disabled and their caregivers on how to improve their quality of life through fitness, meditation, and tai chi programs designed specifically for them.
I can't begin to say what a difference these specifically designed programs can make. |
I thrive when providing care for the specially challenged. The rewards for everyone, including me, cannot be measured. All I can say is that I'm humbled to see how the human spirit can thrive and how it can sometimes manifest itself in physical and emotional healing and advancement.
I don't mean to say we work miracles here. What we do is work and sweat and laugh and grow. We strive for balance. We've been knocked off balance and we gain it back through physical movement and meditation. We work on getting our working parts connected. That's where we can make a difference.
Nonprofit Foundation Benefits The Disabled
To further my commitment to improving the quality of life of the disabled, a friend and I have created the nonprofit Hoop Balancing Network Foundation. Our mission is "to educate the disabled and the caregivers to improve their quality of life through fitness, meditation and Tai Chi programs designed specifically for them."
Our purpose is for all individuals to live a balanced healthy lifestyle.
If you or someone you know would like more info on our non-profit or if you are looking for our movement and meditation program to come to their facility or home, just call.
Achieve fitness. Put yourself on your ToDo list and reclaim your life. -Angie
